General:

This document is designed to be an easy to understand reference to the terms and conditions of TV production with Spectrum Post.

Accuracy & Full Legal Compliance:

All of the advice & material produced for [Company] will be based solely on various briefs to Spectrum Post from you. On acceptance or usage of this advice or material it is understood that absolute responsibility for its accuracy, honesty & legal compliance will be borne in full by you, via your legal teams.

All output will be approved prior to distribution or release, and you indemnify Spectrum Post to the fullest extent in respect of any claims, fines or penalties resulting from the services performed by Spectrum Post.

Terms:

•    Costs (as detailed in our estimate) may change as requirements change.
•    Variables & allowances (as marked with an asterisk* on your estimate(s)) are only estimated at this stage - actual amount will be billed.
•    50% of the total is payable on approval to proceed.
•    The second 50% is payable on delivery of first edit.

Timing:

Timelines vary by project and will be supplied and/or agreed with you prior to commencement of activity. In many cases, these will be subsequently changed by mutual agreement.

CAD and dubs dispatch: We strongly recommend that at least 3 working days are put aside for CAD/Free TV Australia to approve the TVCs (Please allow up to 2 weeks for approval of a 30 min advertorial) and at least 2 working days for distribution prior to the on air date (excluding weekends). This allows for both you and Spectrum Post to rectify or change material (if required) prior to final distribution. Whilst Spectrum Post will take any action it reasonably can to meet tighter deadlines, it will not be held responsible for late or incorrect material if sufficient time (as detailed above) has not been given for this process.

For CAD/Free TV Australia we would recommend pre-approval of all scripts.

All Intellectual Property Rights & Copyright © will be owned by Spectrum Post, and all of the ideas & concepts detailed remain the intellectual property of Spectrum Post., until the invoice relating to it has been settled.
