Is Animation expensive?

July 13th, 2009

Well the answer is yes and no! Depending on what you need to achieve, animation can be as complex or simple as you need. If your aim is to create 3D characters and environments and complex movements, then the cost will be high. If you are talking about animating text or creating motion backgrounds or graphics, then animation is an affordable and effective way to display otherwise uninteresting elements.

Some examples of cost effective animations are:

  • Animating a graph to show how extra repayments on a home loan effects the time it takes to pay off your loan.
  • Animating bullet points onto and off screen to emphasise the script
  • Motion Backgrounds to add production value and interest to static graphics
  • Creating 3D text and animating them on screen
  • Animating still images to create movement and interest
  • Animating a logo
  • Animating website pages to show functionality
  • simple 2D animations of shapes or graphics

At Spectrum Post we can help you create a dynamic ad with animated graphics without breaking the bank!
